I am probably the first Christmas-poster. In Germany Christmas Eve is the night when gifts are being exchanged. Our tree this year is the smallest we’ve ever had.
Looks like tons of gifts, but that’s for six people. There are no electronics etc. involved, we are no crazy consumer shoppers. — mareen

I was wondering whether I could do something cool, so that my grandchildrens’ kids would always keep me in mind. There are always these good old philosophers that are quoted in big speeches at big events, so why not become one of those as a kind of side job?
With all the wisdom rooted in the very bottom of my chickenbrain that wouldn’t be too hard, I guess.
So lets start with the first sagacity:

What is really sad is that my boyfriend left me over Christmas to go skiing with a friend. He asked whether I wanted to come, but hmmm, I don’t know how to ski. I think going skiing with Freddie is like a turtle competing with an eagle when its about speed and elegance.
