as i am writing this, my desk vibrates due to the heavy footsteps created by my elephant-like neighbor. i guess i need to stay in the library until later than nine o clock from now on? thanks. what is there that you can do about such things? talk to the landlord?

this house was built in 1890 and i try to endure the loudness every night. i wrote a letter before, about a year ago, but now it's back to worse than before.
